- I am the daughter of William Andrew and Eva Jane Davis Johnston. I was born in Princeton, West Virginia. The youngest of 12 children. I went to college at the University of Nevada at Reno. My husband, Stephen and I met our last year of college. We married on Nov. 28,1966. When we graduated we moved to Virginia for Stephen to begin his officer training with the Marine Corps. We were in Virginia for about 9 months and Stephen went to Viet Nam and I went to West Virginia to live with my parents and teach school until Stephen returned. When he returned we moved to California. We were there for a couple of years and then returned to Virginia. While in Virginia Stephen decided to become a FBI Agent. This took us to Houston, Texas. When he decided he didn't really like the FBI we moved to Dallas where he began his career in sales which he has continued for the rest of our 40 years of marriage except for the years we owned a dairy. We have nine wonderful children. Seven daughters and two sons. We also now have 17 absolutely fabulous grandchildren. Life is good!
